Men's Shed has a new Drill
Thank you to Bendigo Bank Community Support Program.
Hi Jeff,
We, The Darwin Men’s Shed (DMS), would like to take this opportunity to thank the board members of the Bendigo Bank, Nightcliff, for your extremely generous donation of $5oo to our ‘Shed’.
As you are aware, we are still in the early stages of development
and as such this money is most welcome and will be put toward our
establishment fund. This fund is ear-marked to assist us with the
purchase of some basic tools and materials. For example: a battery
drill and drill bits, blades for; jigsaw, coping saw, hacksaw etc. Sheets of plywood from which we can build wooden stools, some of which will be donated to the Aralia Street Op Shop – run by the Henbury Special School.
So as you can see, the gift that the Bendigo bank has provided to us
continues to flow through to the rest of the community.
Once again, our sincere thanks and regards,
Trevor Primmer
On behalf of the members of The Darwin Men’s Shed.
